Our one-night stay at Sentinel Villa was truly incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome, even our fur baby Freyja. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the sauna/cold plunge tub in the cedar trees was pure magic. The view of Kootenay Lake from our room was breathtaking, and we took full advantage of the hot tub and sauna overlooking the lake. The grounds were immaculately kept, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, and can't wait to visit again!

    Can recommend this hotel.

I had the most very nice stay at Sentinel Villa. The location on the shore of Kootenay Lake was fine, with each room offering amazing views. I was able to relax in the hot tub and sauna, both overlooking the lake, and it was pure bliss. The wood fire sauna added a special touch to the experience. The French chef, Andrea, was an absolute gem and made us feel like royalty. The food was beyond amazing, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the resort was perfect. I also loved the cozy lounging areas, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or a good book. Stargazing was a highlight, and the proximity to Fletcher Falls made for a great outdoor adventure. I highly recommend this hotel for its really good location, luxurious amenities, and great service.

The room was cozy and the amenities were great, with luxurious linens and bedding. The location by the lake and mountains was relaxing. The staff were really good too make us feel welcome and important, especially the very nice French chef Andrea. We were blown away by the delicious food she prepared for us. The grounds were clean, peaceful, and well-managed, offering plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy the fine views. We can't wait to go back and try out the kayaks and canoes.

The breakfast was fantastic, but it would have been even better if they offered a wider variety of options.

My partner and I stayed at Sentinel Villa for one night and we were blown away by the breathtaking views of Kootenay Lake. The wood fire sauna was a highlight, although the floorboard could use a bit of maintenance. The French chef, Andrea, was absolutely incredible and made us feel like VIPs. The food was outstanding and the greeting upon arrival was warm and welcoming. The grounds and room were impeccably clean and it was clear that the hotel is very well managed.

    I can recommend this hotel.

The property was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. We were able to relax and unwind in the peaceful and tranquil setting. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly brewed coffee. We also enjoyed the sauna and hot tub under the stars, which was a truly magical experience.

We were disappointed that there were no TVs in the rooms, as we would have liked to unwind with some evening entertainment. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning or fans in the rooms made it quite uncomfortable during the day.

Gorgeous location with breathtaking views of a lake and mountains. Luxurious amenities and high-quality bedding and linens made for a comfortable stay. The wood fire sauna and hot tub under the stars were incredibly relaxing. The French chef, Andrea, provided exceptional service and delicious food. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel like important guests. The facility had a lot of attention to detail and cozy lounging areas. Stargazing was a highlight, and the nearby Fletcher Falls were worth the hike. The breakfast was great, and the espresso machine made excellent coffee. The resort was conveniently located near Fletcher Falls and Ainsworth Hot Springs.

I wish there had been a mini fridge in the room, but I could have used the main kitchen if needed. It would have been nice to have courtesy robes for the walk to and from the hot tub.
